Join The Center for Hope and Healing for their celebration of Transgender Day of Visibility with a viewing and discussion of the award-winning film Paris is Burning, a landmark documentary film of LGBTQ culture, which features the drag ball culture of New York City and the Black, Latino, gay, and transgender communities involved in it. Released in 1991, Paris is Burning is one of the inspirations behind the current TV show Pose on FX. The film will be followed by a discussion led by the Center for Hope and Healing staff and Christa Brown.
