Marta began her journey at The Center for Hope and Healing as a hotline and medical volunteer advocate in 2014. After obtaining her M.A. in Criminology and Justice Studies from UMass Lowell in 2017, she came aboard full time as the Senior Advocate for the Volunteer Program, and later the Communications Coordinator. She is passionate about advocating for survivors of sexual violence as well as those who have historically been oppressed. Marta was born in Poland and has lived in Massachusetts for the past 15 years. A resident of Lowell for 7 years, Marta enjoys all the coffee shops, live music, and art that Lowell has to offer.
